Saturday was the Stampin' Up! experience in Glasgow. I was asked to demo a technique. I chose the Jacob's Coat Technique. I stamped En Francais background stamp with Certainly Celery on Whisper White cardstock. Then using the sponge daubers, I sponged Pixie Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Tourquiose and Summer Sun ink over the cardstock. Then I wiped over this with my Stampin' Buddy. Using some of the butterfly images from Flight of the Butterfly, I stamped over the cardstock with Versamark Ink. These were then embossed with Clear Embossing Power. I then Brayered over the whole lot in Brocade Blue ink. The butterflies "pop" out like magic. Why not give it a go.

This is amazing. I'm wondering why I've never come across this technique before - I'll definately be giving it a go. Thank you.
Stunning wished I had seen this.
Hi Theresa
This is absolutely beautiful. I have never tried this technique before but will certainly be giving it a go now. Thank you for the inspiration for something new.
